Men’s health charity Movember have entered into a partnership with Instrumental’s data-driven record label frtyfve.
Movember helps fund over 1,200 projects focusing on prostate cancer, testicular cancer and suicide prevention.
The partnership will see frtyfve, the label behind last year’s UK Christmas No.1, launch the Mo Sounds playlist on Friday 1 November 2019, with participating artists donating 50% of the profits from the recordings to benefit Movember’s cause areas.
Over 50 artists from nine countries with a combined monthly listenership of 10+ million on Spotify alone have already committed to the campaign.
Platinum-selling artists Jamie Lawson and The Overtones have also joined the campaign.
In addition, lewis Capaldi remixers Future Humans, Ireland’s Curtis Walsh, Los Angeles-based Sophie Rose, acoustic folk star Havelin and electro-pop duo JST FRNDS are just a few more of those taking part in the campaign.
DJ/Rapper Ironik and Spanish-Basque musician Gizmo Varrilas are also putting their spins on songs by ‘iconic tash wearing artists’.
All recordings will be distributed through frtyfve’s partnership with AWAL and promoted by both parties to Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube and across social media.
