Sports, Music and Entertainment capital solutions provider 23 Capital has appointed Jack MacDonald as Head of Music and Entertainment Origination for the UK.
MacDonald (pictured) joins 23 Capital from Credit Suisse where he was a Director running the Sports, Media and Entertainment desk for the UK private bank.
Since inception in 2014, 23 Capital has deployed and advised on over $2.55bn of transactions, including debt financing the acquisition of music catalogues, funding an online digital rights platform, brand license exploitation and the financing for a VIP ticketing platform.
The firm’s global team of music and entertainment specialists work closely with artists and their managers, songwriters, music publishers and record labels to deliver finance solutions.
