Jackie Winkler has been promoted to Vice President, A&R, at Island Records.
Based in Los Angeles, Winkler will report jointly to Imran Majid and Justin Eshak, Co-CEOs of Island Records.
Winkler will play a “key role” in the label’s future, it says.
Recently featured in HITS Noisemakers, Winkler played a major role in the signing and A&R of Lauren Spencer-Smith.
Winkler also works closely with pop star Demi Lovato, Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia O’Brien and more.
Winkler began her career as an intern at Warner Records.
She was hired as an A&R Manager in 2011, and signed the Grammy-winning artist Andra Day as her first act.
Winkler joined Island in 2015 as A&R Director, working closely with Bishop Briggs and more.
Winkler’s promotion is the latest in a raft of executive appointments at Island.
In February, Sharon Timure was promoted to Senior Vice President, Head of Marketing, at the label, while in the same month, Jhared ‘Jae’ Brown was named Island’s Vice President, A&R.
In January, Mike Alexander was also appointed General Manager of Island Records.
