Former Naxos, ole and AdShare exec Jim Selby has been appointed as the new General Manager of fast-growing music rights company Concord Music Group.
Selby was CEO of Naxos of America from 2007 to the end of 2013, when he left the firm to become SVP of Digital at acquisitive Canada-based music rights firm Ole.
He joined social media monetisation platform AdShare as President in August/September last year – but has jumped ship to Concord after little over six months in the role.
Based in Nashville, Selby will oversee Concord’s shared label marketing services.
This includes US Sales & Commercial Development (including Online Marketing & Strategy), International Marketing & Development, US Radio & Video Promotion, Merchandise Sales & Development, Direct-To-Consumer Marketing, Brand & Corporate Partnerships, Advertising & Promotional Services, and Video Production.
