Role Overview
As our Social Media Content Videographer, you’ll be responsible for producing high-quality video content that captures the energy and excitement of a global tour. From electrifying concert footage to intimate backstage moments, your work will be featured across social media platforms, with a special focus on shortform vertical content for TikTok and Instagram Reels. Your creativity, speed, and technical expertise will play a crucial role in sharing the artist’s journey with fans around the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Film, edit, and produce captivating video content during concerts and behind the scenes using both mobile devices and professional video cameras.
- Shortform Mastery: Develop and execute innovative ideas for TikTok and Instagram Reels, with a focus on creating content that is engaging, shareable, and in line with the artist’s brand.
- On-the-Fly Editing: Deliver fast, high-quality edits with a quick turnaround time, ensuring that content is ready to go live within tight deadlines.
- Creative Ideation: Continuously brainstorm and pitch new video content ideas that will keep fans engaged and eager for more. Having fantastic ideas and a passion for creating the best content is vital to success in this role.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the artist and management teams to ensure cohesive and consistent content output.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a videographer/content creator for high-profile artists or major brands, with a strong portfolio to showcase your work (including live performance work)
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using both mobile devices and professional video cameras for content creation. Advanced editing skills with experience in software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent.
- Social Media Savvy: Deep understanding of TikTok and Instagram trends, algorithms, and best practices, with proven success in creating viral content.
- Creativity: Strong sense of storytelling, visual composition, and the ability to generate fresh, exciting ideas that align with the artist’s values and audience. A passion for pushing creative boundaries and producing the best content is essential.
- Adaptability: Ability to work under pressure, manage tight deadlines, and adapt quickly to the ever-changing dynamics of a global tour.
- Willingness to Travel: Ready and eager to travel the world as part of a dynamic touring team, with a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and extended periods away from home.
