Overview

As the Vice President of Digital & Viral Marketing for Big Loud Rock, you will lead end-to-end digital, social and influencer strategy and execution to amplify our roster of artists to new levels. In this role, you will come up with ground-breaking viral digital strategies including, social (organic and paid), grassroots strategies and influencer strategies.

The position will be responsible for the execution of day-to-day influencer marketing activities, using influencers as brand advocates, content promoters, and content contributors. We are looking for a digital marketing expert with experience creating viral campaigns across TikTok, Instagram/Facebook, YouTube/VEVO, X, etc.


What you’ll do
  • Define, plan, and execute paid and earned digital, social and influencer marketing campaigns for Big Loud Rock’s roster of artists
  • Manage relationships with top-level artists, managers, and other partners
  • Leverage your relationships and expertise between artist teams and social media partners (YouTube/VEVO, TikTok, Instagram/Facebook, X, etc.) on content trends, best practices, promotional and engagement opportunities
  • Discover new influencer accounts, sites, and outlets to promote artists and maintain relationships with key sites and partners
  • Analyze and measure overall campaign performance and provide insights and key learnings to other departments
  • Track-specific milestones, including email, social and advertising conversion rates, plays and views, number of fans acquired, campaign spend and ROI against project goals
  • Drive direct-to-consumer revenue from recorded music sales, merchandise sales, ticketing, advertising, and subscription
  • Identify viral, digital word-of-mouth marketing opportunities with the goal of driving traffic, fan acquisition, and creating brand awareness for artists
  • Identify and execute grassroots marketing opportunities for our roster of artists
  • Formulate strategy and devise business models for the digital space that align with near- and long-term strategic marketing priorities. Analyze and evaluate areas of opportunity.
  • Collaborate closely with leaders across Big Loud Rock and Big Loud Records to execute on and manage industry partnerships
  • Present to stakeholders across the company to educate and align them around strategic goals and individual initiatives.

What you bring
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 7+ years of experience in digital marketing within the music industry
  • Analytical background and ability to create and update reports
  • Expert knowledge of all current social media and digital platforms, and a proven track record of amplifying content, creating on platform engagement, and breaking artists through a social media lens
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams (excellent project management, organization, and communication skills)
  • Ambitious individual sought who is a self-starter requiring minimal direction.
  • Excellent communication oral and written skills
  • Social strategy and paid/earned media planning experience
  • Influencer Marketing Expertise
  • Must be proficient with using Google Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop, video editing software (Premiere or Final Cut), and comfortable with collaboration and asset management tools like Google Drive, Dropbox and the like
  • Must thrive in a team environment but be able to take initiative and work independently
