Manager, Digital Operations, Global

New York City

BMG is a new kind of music company. Our mission is clear; to help artists and songwriters make the very most of their songs and recordings in the digital age. That’s why we offer the best creative support, provide the best access to platforms and work hard to maximize the value of each and every copyright, ensuring all our clients receive all payments promptly and accurately.

We are not a technology company – though we use the best technology. We are not just a music publisher or a record label – although we offer both services. BMG is a company with service, transparency and fairness at its heart and a commitment to being the best international music company for songwriters, artists and everyone who works with us.

We are looking for a Global Digital Operations Manager to join our Supply Chain Operations team. Our Supply Chain Operations team ensures that BMG recordings reach music fans worldwide both physically and digitally. • Maintaining NA operational relationships with DSPs and providing time zone support for timed releases.
  • Monitoring and fixing Apple tickets, liaising with relevant teams globally to update products in BMG and Apple’s systems.
  • Managing Neighbouring Rights (PPI) registrations for North America, Australia & Brazil societies (+ others), running monthly registrations and liaising with the data team to ensure all recordings are successfully registered.
  • Coordinating Neighbouring Rights registration of acquired catalogues and on-boarding of new society relations.
  • Contributing knowledge and experience to improve Supply Chain process.

Must-Haves
  • You have previous experience working as part of a supply chain team in the music industry.
  • You are experienced with iTunes xml and DDEX.

  • You have an exceptional ability to prioritize, multi-task and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • You enjoy troubleshooting and finding solutions.
  • You are skilled in categorizing errors and recognizing data patterns with the ability to cross reference data spreadsheets.

It’s also a plus (not a must) if you have experience with Neighbouring Rights societies and registrations.
