Job Description
Burwood Media is looking for a temporary, part-time Marketing Assistant. This unique role will support our marketing department with a focus on email marketing, SMS, paid social media, and other marketing initiatives. We want to bring on someone interested in developing their skills in event marketing and the entertainment industry.
Responsibilities
Support the Marketing team:
- Assist with email and SMS marketing efforts
- Draft and schedule paid ad campaigns
- Help support other event marketing duties
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1+ year of experience working on email and/or SMS marketing.
- Experience with paid social media ads a plus.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and a detail-driven mindset.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
- New York-based and able to work from our offices in Williamsburg, Brooklyn 2-3 days a week.
- Remote candidates will be considered.

Concert Tickets: As a live event business, we encourage you to attend concerts! We are happy to guest list you to live shows that you would like to attend (whether Company-related or not). If for some reason the Company cannot guest list you for a show, the Company will reimburse you for up to $100 per month on concert tickets.
Frequent team happy hours and team nights out.
Compensation & Commitment
- $20 per hour
- 15-20 hours per week
