Job Description
Burwood Media is looking for a full-time Social Media & Marketing Coordinator. This unique role will support our Social Media and Communication managers, facilitating audience growth, engaging with each brand’s community, and assisting the expansion of O&O event offerings.
You will be responsible for executing and reporting on successful email, SMS, social media and other digital marketing campaigns and assisting with operational tasks that help measure performance for new initiatives. We want to bring on someone interested in developing a wide set of skills in the digital marketing and entertainment industry.
Responsibilities
Socials:
- Create, schedule and post content on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X channels under the supervision of the Social Media manager(s)
- Pitch and create new and engaging content to be deployed by the Social team
- Maintain organized content folders for all brands so assets needed are just a few clicks away
- Oversee and respond to all inbound Burwood Media public-facing channels including but not limited to replying to comments, DMs, SMS, Discord, and emails
- Attend local events regularly with the intention of capturing content for our channels
- Report show related feedback to Production Manager and Marketing Director
Communications & Email:
- Assist in writing and editing copy for ads, email blasts and other marketing materials
- Schedule email and SMS content for show-specific marketing campaigns
New Events:
- Research new potential party concepts and develop an understanding of the competitive landscape
Administrative:
- Build new shows into the website via Seated, Bandsintown or similar tool
- Import audience emails weekly
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1+ years of experience managing social media accounts in a professional setting
- 1+ years of experience creating Meta and TikTok ad campaigns
- Database management experience – including Google Sheets, Excel, and Airtable
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and a detail-driven mindset.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required
- New York-based and able to work from our offices in Williamsburg, Brooklyn 3 days a week.

Compensation: $23-25 / hour
