Chrysalis Records/Blue Raincoat Music is a leading independent music company headquartered in London and New York. Along with our US partner Reservoir Media, we own the legendary Chrysalis and Tommy Boy catalogues, and we also represent artists through our management arm Blue Raincoat Artists, and publishing via Blue Raincoat Music Publishing.


Catalogue Marketing Manager

In this role you will be responsible for developing and overseeing the marketing campaigns and strategies for our diverse roster of iconic catalogue artists and projects, in the UK and utilising our international teams.

From the planning and coordinating of the creative marketing plan and roll-out of the campaigns, ensuring timely delivery of all key parts, tools, and information to relevant teams, meeting strict deadlines, and keeping within your allotted budget. You will also oversee the UK marketing of U.S. repertoire on behalf of our U.S. catalogue labels.

The role will be based in London, UK and you will work within the UK marketing team, reporting directly to the SVP of Marketing.


Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Lead the development and delivery of creative and compelling marketing campaigns for our labels catalogue artists.

  • Working closely alongside our Catalogue Project Managers and Director of Streaming, you will devise appropriate release strategies for new releases, re-releases, and streaming initiatives.
  • Working with our SVP of Catalogue Development and Marketing, on forecasting for all campaigns and being responsible for managing those marketing budgets per project.
  • Key point person for the entire marketing campaign, providing regular reporting, campaign updates, collating feedback and ideas and communicating all to key group and label stakeholders.
  • Initiate and execute on all aspects of the marketing campaign plan, covering any retail (physical & digital account exclusives) streaming promotions, outdoor, live, sync and all other campaign-related marketing.
  • Working with the Project Managers, responsible for delivering marketing assets, tools, and creative content, to all the relevant teams both internal and external.
  • Working with the Project Managers, responsible for the hiring of and then coordination of any external promotional / plugging teams for press, TV, Radio, Social.
  • Collaborate with the team on the narrative and audience development of our Chrysalis owned label channels to ensure our hired social agency has all information, tools and content for all upcoming catalogue releases and key moments.
  • Work closely and effectively with our US Marketing Team to ensure they have what they need (budget, marketing tools, assets) to execute our campaigns in North America, as well as assisting in the marketing and sales of our U.S. labels releases in the UK.
  • Working closely with our digital advertising agency, oversee digital advertising planning and budgeting, to grow our audiences and promote our campaigns.

The ideal candidate will have
  • At least +3 years prior experience at a record company
  • Exceptional interpersonal, confident and communication skills
  • Impactful presentational skills to convey information and results clearly.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure and balance priorities.
  • Excellent time-management, organisational skills, and strong attention to detail
  • The ability to take broad campaign concepts and translate into partner specific initiatives that result in sales/streams and impression.
  • A good working knowledge of the music industry, and a passionate commitment to music and artists
