Digital Marketing Manager
Influence Media seeks a New York based digital marketing manager to oversee all day to day digital management for Influence Media/SLANG artists and collaborate and contribute to the Influence Media catalog when necessary.
The role will work closely with Marketing, commerce, and other departments to inform digital marketing strategy and keep our artists and catalogs on the cutting edge of culture and technology.
Responsibilities
- Build and execute the digital and social aspects of an artist release or catalog campaign.
- Competitive research on viral trends, campaigns, new platforms & partners to inform marketing strategy to keep our artists & catalogs on the cutting edge of culture and technology.
- Responsible for cultivating an engaged fan base for artists’ across all social profiles, CRM (text/email), fan clubs , D2C, etc.
- Create digital and social media best practices resources for artists.
- Proven success creating and running fan growth strategies to build artist profiles and catalog engagement using content strategy, paid media and more.
- Provide strategy, optimize, and run all digital advertising campaigns based on the objectives and goals of the overall campaign.
- Have and manage excellent relationships with key digital accounts ie TikTok, Meta, Snapchat, YouTube, Twitter, etc to secure promotional opportunities, partnerships and latest best practices for artist roster.
- Identify content needs for digital and social campaign rollouts ie video/photo content, short-form video content, website updates, and all other content as needed for successful digital marketing campaign.
- Discover new platforms, outlets, influencer accounts, and more to promote artists and catalog.
- Maintain relationships with key sites, influencers and partners.
- Innovate & strategize new ways of bringing vision and narrative to life for our artists & catalogs within the digital space.
- Have and continue to build your rolodex of influencers and agencies to leverage for artist or catalogs.
- Content seeding and narrative building with key social platforms.
- Analyze the success and effectiveness of promotions, paid media campaigns, social engagement and partnerships.
- Translate analytics into simplified takeaways for artists and other departments and provide key learnings that will inform future campaigns.
- Ensure all digital timelines, budgets, and business goals are achieved.
What We’re Looking For
- 4-7 years minimum experience in digital marketing
- Passionate and extremely creative.
- You are an organized critical thinker who works well in a team environment under pressure, on short deadlines and across multiple active artist campaigns
- Existing relationships with digital platforms / online partners and brand relationships a plus
- Broad knowledge of contemporary music scene and lifestyle
- Understanding of interactive technologies and communication tools including email marketing, SEO/SEM, social networks, content marketing
- Assist with the creation, build, and editing of online properties where applicable (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and other sites appropriate to artists and label)
- You have excellent communication skills

- Ability to pinpoint problems and identify solutions
