Head of Digital Marketing and Social Strategy
Job functions
- Work alongside artist teams to craft and implement digital marketing and social media strategies that support the artist’s overall marketing goals and project narrative.
- Collaborate with managers to determine the vision and direction of short form content strategy for new releases and tour marketing. Act as a producer in short form content shoots, communicating deliverables with external videographers & editors.
- Oversee, monitor, and expand the social media presence of the MWA roster across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Threads, Tiktok, and Youtube Shorts, ensuring that content is optimized for each platform.
- Stay informed about emerging digital trends, platforms, and technologies. Educate artist teams to utilize these for innovative marketing strategies for artists.
- Orchestrate collaborations with influencers and digital partners to broaden the artist’s reach, monitoring the success of these partnerships.
- Track audience engagement and social media performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to improve results. Report these findings to the greater team.
- Collaborate with managers and labels to refine and enhance existing marketing plans for new music campaigns and tour marketing, providing strategic feedback and creative insights to ensure optimal execution and impact.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in digital marketing, social media management, managing digital campaigns for artists.
- A creative thinker with a passion for music and the desire to work with the artists on the Make Wake roster.
- Proficiency in analyzing digital metrics and data
- Familiarity or Experience with Country music and the Nashville music landscape
- Entrepreneurial Spirit + desire to lead a team.
- Must be able to maintain high confidentiality – NDA will be required
- Self Starter
