ARTIST’S ASSISTANT
This is a paid, full-time position to assist Moses Sumney. Previous experience in the entertainment industries preferred. Must be willing to travel often and be open to partial relocation.

Primary responsibilities may include
- Managing calendar, scheduling meetings, and appointments.
- Managing to-do lists and initiating reminder systems.
- Handling emails/phone duties and being a liaison to the artist.
- Implementing and maintaining structural procedures/administrative systems.
- Booking and arranging travel, transport, and accommodations.
- Accompanying the artist while traveling and touring and liaising with art, fashion, music, film, and brand partners.
- Assisting with simple home/studio improvement and upkeep tasks.
- General errands, including but not limited to shopping (online and in-person), handling mail, dry cleaning, etc.
- Creative research and project management.
The Ideal Candidate
A strong candidate should only apply if they possess the following:
- A passionate desire to grow in the art, music, film, and creative industries.
- An intention to grow in this position for at least 2 years.
- Ability and desire to travel frequently.
- Curiosity and willingness to research and learn new skills as needed.
- Proficiency in G-suite, with a strong focus on Docs, Sheets and Gmail; proficiency with Dropbox.
- Digital and IRL organizational skills.
- Ability to be cool, calm, and collected under pressure.
- Ability to interact with high-level and high-visibility creative industry personnel comfortably and efficiently.
- A positive, proactive, can-do attitude.
- A knack for problem-solving, and a perceptive ability to foresee and vocalize potential problems as they arise.
- Ability to respond to emails and executive tasks rapidly.
- Administrative job experience.
- An active driver’s license.
- An intention to grow in this position for at least 2 years.
The following are not mandatory but will be strongly considered:
- Leadership experience in event and/or creative production.
- Live touring or live show staff experience.
- Proficiency with music equipment and software (Logic, Pro Tools, Ableton, instruments, etc.)
- Proficiency with film equipment and software (Premiere, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci)
- Proficiency with cameras, photo equipment, and software (Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.)
- Advanced computer skills and backup knowledge (external hard drives, raid systems, online cloud storage, amazon s3, etc).
- Familiarity with day-to-day management duties.
- Ability to put together basic moodboards, decks, or pitches for in-development projects.
- Advanced iPhone photography/video and editing skills, with an emphasis on social media.
- Social media knowledge.
- Dexterity in more than one language.
- Music studio experience.
- Film industry experience.
- Possession of a vehicle.
