The Vice President of Publishing/A&R for Raedio (A HOORAE Inc. Company), will lead the efforts in the publishing division through Identifying meaningful creative collaborations, A&R projects for creative delivery while Implementing and managing high-level day-to-day operations for Raedio publishing. The Vice President of Publishing/A&R will Identify publishing and A&R opportunities utilizing marketing tools and resources that contribute to executing the creative vision of the roster.

The Vice President of Publishing/A&R will increase the creative marketing visibility of the brand by identifying and activating programs and initiatives that will increase Raedio’s catalog volume. The Vice President of Publishing/A&R will report to the Raedio vertical President. Note: Only applicants local to the greater Los Angeles and New York City areas will be considered.


What you will do
  • Identify, sign and develop new talent while managing, developing, and overseeing artist development strategies for an existing roster of artists.
  • Identify collaborations/opportunities for artists/songwriters/producers growing the publishing/A&R catalog.
  • Manage relationships with publishing partners and HOORAE Senior Executive level.
  • Identify creative collaborations for songwriters including but not limited to; HOORAE Film/TV, Brand Marketing, Strategic Partnerships, Podcast and Music Supervision projects.
  • Actively seek external projects by pitching material to record label A&R’s, management teams, sync (Film/TV/Advertising/Gaming) for opportunities. Participate in negotiating new deals.
  • Management of budgets including but not limited to: publishing and royalty statement analysis/distribution. marketing and recording budget management (when necessary) accounts payable and receivable.
  • Collaborate with leadership team and cross functional partners to identify & develop expansion plans, while identifying and executing opportunities for new business products, marketing, acquisitions, partnerships, ventures, and intellectual property.
  • Leadership of the publishing/A&R team, while meeting the goals and objectives of the business.

What you will need
  • 5+ years of leadership experience within a Publishing/A&R role.
  • Bachelors degree is highly desired.
  • Knowledge and/or experience in copyright laws, contracts, music licensing and rights management. Experience in publishing operations/administration.
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with artists, managers and attorneys.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills with business and cross functional partners, coupled with the ability to influence and negotiate.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
  • Solid knowledge/proficiency in software applications (Airtable, Google Suite) and other industry specific technology tools.

Salary Range: 135k-150k Depending on Experience.
