Music Management Admin Assistant / A&R Scout
Location: Los Angeles, CA (open to candidates in NYC or Nashville)
Type: Full-time. Competitive salary and discretionary bonus
About Seasons
Seasons is a dynamic and growing artist and producer management company, as well as a boutique music catalog sales advisory firm. We work across genres with a growing roster of talent from day one to more established, well-known names and are deeply invested in long-term artist development, creative deal-making, and great music.
About the Role
We’re looking for an Admin Assistant / A&R Scout to support the company founder and help manage the daily operations of the talent management division. While this is primarily an administrative role, there’s room for growth—this position could eventually evolve into a day-to-day management role for the right candidate.
The ideal person has some prior experience in music (in an office, label, publishing, management or other professional industry setting), keeps up with current trends, and has strong opinions about emerging artists, writers, and producers. We’re looking for someone who’s not only organized and proactive, but also excited to be part of a creative and evolving company.
Though the core of the job is administrative—managing calendars, scheduling sessions, coordinating with clients and third parties—you’ll also be invited to contribute ideas, attend strategy meetings, and participate in creative discussions. If you have a strong sense of what’s happening in music, experience or interest in A&R, and a passion for artist development, we’d love to meet you. We work with talent across a range of genres, and while a broad knowledge of the landscape is great, we also welcome candidates with a deep focus or passion for a particular subsect of music.

Administrative:
- Maintain and manage a busy executive’s calendar and contacts
- Proactively follow up on meetings, sessions, and other company activity
- Maintain and improve internal systems and procedures
- Coordinate between clients and third parties (labels, PROs, publishers, attorneys, etc.)
A&R & Creative Support:
- Scout and identify emerging artists, producers, and songwriters
- Pitch loops, beats, songs, and session ideas to outside collaborators
- Assist with the day-to-day needs of artists and producers, including scheduling, communication, and project coordination
- Participate in company meetings, artist strategy discussions, and A&R brainstorms
- Stay current on industry trends, new music, and creative opportunities
Qualifications
- At least 1 year or more of experience in the music industry in a professional setting (those with internship experience can apply; office experience preferred)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Knowledge of music trends, DSPs, and data tools (Chartmetric, Spotify for Artists, etc.)
- Passion for new music, discovery, and creative development
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Bonus if you have any of following:
- Existing network of artists, writers, producers, managers, A&Rs, etc
- Coding, programming, or data analysis skills
- Marketing and/or graphic design experience or skills
