Role Overview
The core responsibilities of the Marketing Assistant will be supporting the Brand, Story & Client Services Manager in creating digital and social assets for artist campaigns, market research and project coordination for upcoming tours and VIP activations.
The position will be instrumental in crafting visually engaging marketing materials, analyzing artist and fan trends, and ensuring cohesive, brand-aligned assets for upcoming tours.
Key Responsibilities
VIP Campaign Development & Asset Creation:
- Assist in the creation, packaging, and organization of marketing assets to support VIP events, including artist meet-and-greets, exclusive backstage access, and premium tour packages.
- Create branded digital assets for VIP experiences and event promotions.
- Develop and maintain a library of artist and event-specific assets for use across social media, email, and web channels.
- Conduct research to refine VIP marketing strategies for each artist, helping increase visibility and engagement among artist fan bases and purchase sites.
- Create (design and copywriting) and schedule social media posts to promote VIP events and artist experiences.
- Monitor social media performance and report on fan interactions, engagement rates, and content reach.
- Respond to comments and messages as needed to build a strong online presence.
VIP Market Research & Analysis:
- Ongoing research on industry trends and fan preferences to support strategic decisions on VIP package inclusions.
- Provide regular insights and reporting on trends and innovations in the VIP and premium experience sector.
Audience Management & Database Marketing
- Capture, scrub, and analyze VIP audience data to build segmented, targeted lists for email and social media campaigns.
- Create and execute targeted email campaigns focused on VIP experiences inclusive of all copywriting and graphic design.
- Track campaign performance and make recommendations based on audience response.
Campaign Project Management & VIP Sales Support
- Confirm and manage marketing logistics for VIP package onsales, including timing, dates, and promotional materials.
- Coordinate with internal teams to communicate essential VIP experience details, ensuring seamless integration across all channels.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Keen design eye with experience creating marketing collateral.
- Knowledge and understanding of graphic design principles, inclusive of typography, composition, color, contrast, hierarchy, emphasis balance, and unity.
- Confidence in copywriting (email campaigns, social media posts, client reporting).
- Demonstrated interest in VIP events, the music industry, or live experiences.
- Very high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced working environment.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and research skills.
- Experience with digital marketing tools, CRM systems, or data analysis is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
