Karen Schoenrock has been named Chief Financial Officer of Global Catalog, Recorded Music and Rhino Entertainment, the catalog division of Warner Music Group.
Based in Los Angeles, she will report to Kevin Gore, President of Global Catalog, Recorded Music, Warner Music Group (WMG).
Schoenrock enters this role after nearly 20 years with WMG, 13 of those years with WMG’s Warner Records, where she most recently served as Vice President of Finance.
Schoenrock started her career in the Special Products division of Warner Music Group before moving on to TV Campaign Manager and Royalty Manager.
She served in numerous roles within Warner Records before landing her most recent gig as Vice President of Finance.
Schoenrock’s appointment follows the announcement of former Rhino CFO David Woirhaye becoming CFO of WMG’s publishing company, Warner Chappell Music.
