Karen Vincent has been elevated to the role of General Manager at Warner Music Denmark.
Based in Copenhagen, she will report directly to Mark Fry, the President of Warner Music Nordics, according to a press release on Monday (Feburary 5).
Vincent most recently served as Marketing Director of Warner Music Denmark, a role she has held since 2017. During her tenure, she spearheaded campaigns for local talents like Christopher, Drew Sycamore, Gobs, L.O.C., and Nicklas Sahl. Her team also played a role in supporting releases from globally renowned artists under the Warner Music umbrella, including Bruno Mars, Dua Lipa, and Ed Sheeran.
Prior to joining Warner Music, Vincent held the position of Senior Product Manager at the indie label Copenhagen Records. There, she contributed to campaigns for artists like Alex Vargas, De Eneste To, Nik & Jay, and Stine Bramsen. Simultaneously, Vincent served as the global publicist for the Danish rock band Volbeat, signed to Universal Music.
“I’m so excited to be stepping up to lead Warner Music Denmark. We’re a team that consistently punches above its weight, whether that’s securing a 10-week run at Number One here in Denmark for hip-hop legend Gobs or helping superstar Christopher become one of the best-known international artists in China.”

With over 25 years of experience in the music industry, Vincent embarked on her career as an assistant at Sony Music. She subsequently worked in marketing and promotions at EMI Music before joining Copenhagen Records in 2013.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Vincent is the co-founder of SheCanPlay, a group dedicated to increasing female representation in radio, charts, and live performances. The organization provides guidance to aspiring women and artists from gender minorities, facilitating connections with industry professionals.
Vincent also holds a position on the board of Johan Borup’s College, a folk high school in Copenhagen, and has been appointed by the Danish Ministry of Culture to the newly-formed board of the Southern Danish Conservatory of Music in Odense and Esbjerg.
“It’s great news that Karen has agreed to run Warner Music Denmark. She’s been an indispensable part of the team, crafting incredible campaigns for local, regional and international artists, and I can’t wait to work with her as we continue to support the best Danish creative talent.”

Vincent’s appointment comes nearly three months after Tim Braüner was named Director of International A&R, Warner Music Nordics and Warner Music Denmark, returning to Denmark after recently serving in New York as Vice President of A&R for Atlantic Records.
Braüner will now report to Vincent, while also working closely with Fry.
The development also comes more than two years after Warner Music Finland named Ramona Forsström as General Manager.
