UK-based creative services company Key Production has its acquired Brighton-based rival Modo for an undisclosed fee.
Modo has worked on products for the likes of Led Zeppelin and Oasis, and recently embarked on projects in other areas of packaging for The Forestry Commission, Evian, The Olympics and 100 years of Shackleton.
The acquisition will not result in any redundancies, the companies said in a statement.
Key Production provides creative services company for Vinyl Pressing, CD Replication, DVD Manufacturing and Creative & Ecological Packaging.
With 26 years of experience in the music business, its recent work includes the luxury version of A Moon Shaped Pool by Radiohead, Friends by White Lies (boxset and picture disc), Skeleton Tree by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Head Carrier by The Pixies, as well as work for Ted Baker, Kelly Hoppen and Puma.

The two firms said that the merger would “strengthen both companies’ core business and expertise within the field of specialist packaging” and “will not affect the day to day running of either business”.
