Live Nation Entertainment has acquired a majority stake in US concert and festival promoter Red Mountain Entertainment.
The deal will grow Live Nation’s presence in the Southeastern United States through Red Mountain’s concert promotions, festival promotion and production, as well as venue consulting work.
The entire Red Mountain Team will continue to stay with the company and operate from their home base of Birmingham, Alabama.
Red Mountain’s core concert promotions business handles show bookings in venues ranging from amphitheaters and arenas to clubs and theatres, including exclusive venues The Wharf Amphitheater, Tuscaloosa Amphitheater, Brandon Amphitheater, and Iron City.
Additionally, the company is actively involved in the production of music festivals including Sloss Music & Arts Festival, which is co-owned with AC Entertainment and VMI.
It also has exclusive booking partnerships with Beale Street Music Festival in Memphis and Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival in Richardson, TX.
In addition, Red Mountain produces craft beer festivals in the Southeast and owns the Oak Mountain State Fair in Pelham, Alabama.
