UK-based live multiplayer music-making platform and mobile app Endlesss has recently closed what it describes as a ‘major’ funding round, securing investment from various high profile music industry executives.
Investors include Tim Clark (co-founder, IE:Music), Mathew Daniel (VP International, NetEase Cloud Music), Dhiraj Mukherjee (co-founder, Shazam), Richard Jones (manager, Pixies), Paul Kempe (Tileyard) as well as some well-known artists.
Endlesss was founded by musician and technologist Tim Exile (pictured).
Last month Endlesss co-won the MIDEMlab startup award in Cannes, the award which put SoundCloud and Songkick on the map.
The company’s advisory board includes Stephen O’Reilly (IE:Music, Topspin), Cliff Fluet (Eleven Advisory) and Will Mills (Shazam, LyricFind).
“We’re thrilled to be joined by such a stellar team of artists, managers and founders who are so supportive of our vision to bring music-making into the short-form, multiplayer, live-streamed era.”

The beta iOS app was released in April featuring a music-creation workflow for creating and sharing ‘Rifffs’, short chunks of music that take seconds to create, share and remix in multiplayer ‘jams’.
The company says that engagement has been strong so far with average users spending 45 minutes, top daily users eight hours per day collaborating live across the globe.
Last week the company launched discover.endlesss.fm , a 24/7 stream of live collaboration featuring top creators from the beta test.
Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Imogen Heap and EDM superhero Flux Pavilion both appeared on the live stream.
Endlesss’s design and engineering team have experience from Google, Universal and Native Instruments and are working towards a full launch of the live jam streaming site and creator-focused iOS app later this year.
“We’re thrilled to be joined by such a stellar team of artists, managers and founders who are so supportive of our vision to bring music-making into the short-form, multiplayer, live-streamed era,” said founder Tim Exile, speaking to MBW.Music Business Worldwide
