Jockey Club Live, the joint venture between live music firm Music+Sport and UK racecourse group Jockey Club Racecourses, has appointed Nicky Dunn OBE as Chairman.
Dunn, who has nearly 30 years’ experience in the live music industry, will head the board of Jockey Club Live and assumes her new role with immediate effect.
Before becoming CEO of Belfast Odyssey (now SSE) Arena, where she stayed for ten years, Dunn was Commercial Director of the London Docklands Arena.
She founded her own company IMD Group in 2011, which provides strategic and operational advice to the leisure and entertainment industries and was recently awarded an OBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours.
Dunn also holds non-executive positions within a number of organisations, including The London Legacy Development Corporation and E20 LLP (Olympic Stadium), and chairs the board of The Titanic Foundation.

The Jockey Club Live launched in 2013 to increase the popularity and commercial success of live music events at the 15 Jockey Club owned racecourses around the UK.
In 2015, the company expanded its portfolio to include live music promotions at major cricket matches and this year they have produced their first show at Gloucester Rugby with Jess Glynne.
Today, the Jockey Club owns 15 of Britain’s racecourses amongst other concerns such as the National Stud and property and land management company, Jockey Club Estates.
Artists lined up to appear at Jockey club Live’s series of 2016 summer concerts include Little Mix, Jess Glynne, Kaiser Chiefs, Bryan Adams and Busted.
