Dominic Pandiscia, the CEO of direct-to-fan ecommerce platform PledgeMusic has left the firm.
Following an initial report by HypeBot, MBW reached out to a spokesperson for the company who confirmed that “Dominic is no longer PledgeMusic CEO”.
Pandiscia (pictured) joined the company in 2016.
Before landing at PledgeMusic he was President of UMG-owned Caroline, where he worked with the likes of Alabama Shakes, Five Finger Death Punch and All Time Low.
Prior to his time at Caroline, Pandiscia spent over 20 years at EMI, including 13 years at Virgin Records.
“PledgeMusic holds a truly unique position in the increasingly crowded digital music landscape and I feel privileged to take the helm for its next chapter,” said Pandiscia, when he joined the company back in 2016.
That same year, New York-based VC Magna Entertainment acquired a ‘major position’ in PledgeMusic, following on from a $3 million investment in the business in 2014.Music Business Worldwide
