Simon Liddell and Freddy Greenish have joined forces with Equals Money to launch a new financial management platform, Chorus TM, built for entertainment industry professionals.
Liddell and Greenish most recently ran the entertainment and music teams at UK-headquartered money management platform Centtrip.
Equals Money is a subsidiary of Equals Group PLC, a UK-listed company that currently carries a market cap of GBP £242.90 million on the London Stock Exchange.
Chorus TM, powered by Equals, says it offers entertainment execs fast and secure UK and international payments, real-time spend reporting, streamlined reconciliation processes, and FX management strategies.
The platform – whose app is now available in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store – provides a range of financial/treasury services to music professionals including:
- Access to over 140 currencies worldwide;
- Named multi-currency IBAN accounts, enabling funds to be sent and received in multiple currencies from just one own named bank account. Chorus says this can “save clients substantial fees on collection of foreign income, international payments and transfers”;
- The multi-currency Chorus TM MasterCard®. This offers the ability to spend in 20 different currencies on one card. Instantly issued virtual cards are available to use globally, in addition to physical cards;
- Integration with popular accounting software Xero
Equals Group Chief Product Officer & Managing Director – International, James Simcox said: “Over the past two decades, Equals Money have built a strong presence in the international film and TV industries with our B2B financial management software so expanding our expertise and offering into the wider entertainment industry is a natural next step for us.
