Sony/ATV Music Publishing and Sony Music Masterworks have partnered to publish and release the upcoming soundtrack HYPERBRAWL TOURNAMENT (MUSIC FROM THE VIDEO GAME).
This joint creative effort reflects the One Sony initiative, which works to expand collaboration among Sony’s vast network of businesses.
The tie-up between the two Sony companies marks the second One Sony-related announcement this week, following yesterday’s news that Sony-owned distribution and services company The Orchard has partnered with Sony/ATV to provide its distributed artists and labels with publishing services.
HyperBrawl Tournament is described as “an arcade-style sports brawler experience” created by Milky Tea Limited.
The game will be released on PlayStation4 (PS4) and other gaming consoles on October 20.
The soundtrack will be available on October 16, and its lead single The Journey Begins will be released this Friday, October 9.
HyperBrawl Tournament’s soundtrack was crafted by celebrated British music producer Steve Levine, known for creating iconic studio albums for Culture Club and music for The Beach Boys, Motörhead, Deniece Williams, Honeyz, Ziggy Marley, and Westworld. Levine’s album includes eighteen tracks.
