Sony Music Entertainment has promoted both Monica Cornia and Melissa Thomas to Senior Vice President, International Marketing.
Cornia takes on the title for RCA Records and Arista Records, while Thomas works across Columbia Records and Epic Records.
Based in New York, Cornia and Thomas will be responsible for driving the priorities of Sony Music’s US labels internationally.
They will be developing and executing international marketing campaigns for artists, and enhancing the market presence of artists in other countries around the world.
Together they will oversee the international marketing team based in both New York and London, with a focus on promotion, international digital marketing and sales.

Most recently, Cornia was Vice President, International Marketing for RCA Records, playing a key role in the global strategic development of established and new talent across RCA.
She spearheaded global campaigns for US signed artists, including Foo Fighters, Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keys, ZAYN and many others.
She began her career at Sanctuary Group before joining RCA Music Group’s International Department in 2005.
She then transitioned to artist management working with Kesha at Vector, and returned to RCA in 2014 as Vice President, International Marketing at RCA Records.
Thomas was most recently Vice President International for Epic Records, overseeing the global team that has broken Fifth Harmony, Zara Larsson, Meghan Trainor, DJ Khaled, Future, French Montana, Camila Cabello, and Travis Scott, among others, whilst simultaneously leading Sony Music’s international urban team.
She began her career with Sony Music in London in 2005, working on the UK international team where she spent eight years before transferring to Sony Music’s US International team in New York.
