Sony Music UK have announced that Alice Beal has joined Insanity Records as Label Manager.
Beal joins from Universal‘s Virgin EMI Records, where she was Marketing Manager.
During her tenure at Virgin EMI, Beal helped James Bay secure a double platinum album and two Brit awards for Chaos and the Calm.
Other campaigns Beal has worked on include BANKS, Ella Eyre and Martin Garrix. She was also instrumental in Avicii’s True campaign, which has delivered more than three-and-a-half million UK single sales to date.
Prior to Virgin EMI, Beal was marketing coordinator at Polydor, where she secured her first UK No1 single with Carly Rae Jepsen’s Call Me Maybe – which was also the first campaign she had product managed.
Alice Beal said: “Insanity have built their reputation on being dynamic, ambitious and successful, and this is certainly a mentality I intend to help foster within our label. It is an exciting time, not only for me personally, but also for the brand.”

Insanity Records is a long-term partnership between Sony Music UK and Insanity Group which began in autumn 2015. The partnership was negotiated by Jason Iley, Chairman and CEO, Sony Music UK, and Varley.
It was announced in January that multi-million selling artist Craig David had become the first artist to sign to the new label.
Since then, Insanity have additionally signed UK singer-songwriter Tom Grennan and US artists Yo Gotti and Benjamin Carlisle.Music Business Worldwide
