Sonya McKinley has been named Director, Production & Metadata at Round Hill Records.
She will be based in the company’s Nashville headquarters and will report to Michael Volk, Head of Operations & Business Development for the label.
McKinley will oversee all aspects of product operations and metadata management within Round Hill’s portfolio of labels across both the catalog and frontline releases.
She will also oversee productions for a number of upcoming releases from The Offspring, The Cult, Bush, Juda and the Lion and Rebelution.
McKinley joins Round Hill having previously worked at WEA/Warner Music Group as Manager of Recorded Production and at Sony BMG Music Entertainment, working in purchasing and strategic planning.
Round Hill’s Nashville HQ opened in 2021.
Last year, the company ramped up its recorded music operations and acquired a catalog of master recordings from Swedish independent label Telegram Studios.
The company also launched a rock label called Black Hill Records in 2020.
