SoundCloud has launched its premium subscription plan SoundCloud Go+ in Austria for €9.99 (Web/Android) or €12.99 (iOS) per month.
The music platform’s premium tier and SoundCloud’s free, ad-supported tier are now available in 15 countries including the US, UK, Ireland, France, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and Austria.
The expansion of SoundCloud’s commercial offering in these new markets adds to the growing number of countries where SoundCloud Premier monetization creators can earn revenue for the tracks they share on the platform.
SoundCloud’s Premier distribution feature launched in open beta in February. which enables artists to spread their music to a range of rival streaming services.
SoundCloud Go+ provides full access to over 200m tracks, ad-free and offline.
Audio, in-stream native and video advertising on the ad-supported tier of SoundCloud will be provided in Austria by ads reseller, Targetspot.
SoundCloud says that all advertising solutions are designed to ‘fit seamlessly’ into the SoundCloud experience.
‘Creators’ who subscribe to SoundCloud Pro Unlimited, SoundCloud’s premium creator subscription, can add a SoundCloud Go+ subscription for half the price.
SoundCloud launched a discounted version of SoundCloud Go+ for full-time students in March priced at $4.99/€4.99.
