Spotify‘s personalized driver-targeted playlist featuring a mix of music and news podcasts is now available in a second market following its launch in the US earlier this year.
The ‘Daily Drive’ playlist has now launched in Germany, according to a blog post published today (October 8).
The US version, ‘Your Daily Drive’ launched alongside Spotify’s new ‘Driving Hub’ in June.
As first reported by The Verge, Spotify started testing inserting podcasts into personalized playlists earlier this year.
At launch, the German version of the playlist will feature short-form podcast news updates from the likes of Deutschlandfunk: Nachrichten, Spiegel Update, and Zeit Online: Was jetzt?
The playlist will also be updated throughout the day “to keep both the music and news fresh”.
