Suzanne Smith (pictured), the first-ever Managing Director of UK public performance joint venture PPL PRS Ltd. is leaving her role at the business.
Christine Geissmar, Chief Operating Officer at PPL, has stepped in as interim Managing Director to lead the business until a new Managing Director is appointed.
Smith joined the company in April 2017 from Experian, where she was Managing Director for the company’s UK and Ireland Customer Experience operations.
As MD of PPL PRS Ltd., Smith oversaw its launch in Leicester, the creation of TheMusicLicence, which represents both companies’ rights for public performance, and the launch of the business in February 2018.
