Independent music distribution and marketing company Symphonic Distribution has launched a new dedicated hub for producers called Symphonic for Production.
Services provided via the Symphonic for Production hub includes sample pack distribution, mastering, copyright registration, cover song licensing, downloadable sample packs, STEMs and mastering services.
The Tampa, FL-headquartered company states that it will also work with producers and labels to create sample packs for sale via the official Symphonic For Production retail brand in addition to offering distribution to Sounds.com.
Symphonic recently struck a distribution deal with Nigerian-born music streaming startup MePlaylist.
In January Symphonic entered into a partnership with AMPED to provide physical distribution of vinyl, CDs, and cassettes in North America ‘and beyond’.
“Being able to provide opportunities for producers, as well as ensure that productions are being properly monetized, is very important to our organization.”
Jorge Brea, Symphonic
Symphonic CEO Jorge Brea, said: “As a producer, I always wanted Symphonic to be part of the song production process from the very beginning.
“We’ve wanted to shine a light on producers, as they are the backbone of the process and deserve to be highlighted in the same billing as main artists.
“Being able to provide opportunities for producers, as well as ensure that productions are being properly monetized, is very important to our organization.
“Being able to provide a retail experience that will have exclusive sounds, artist packs, software, and presets not found in other sample pack providers positions us as a great alternative to what is currently in the market and will help elevate many productions to come.” – Music Business Worldwide
