Global artist management powerhouse Three Six Zero has appointed Stirling McIlwaine to the new position of SVP of US Artist Management.
McIlwaine will report to Three Six Zero founders Mark Gillespie and Dean Wilson at the company, which manages the likes of Calvin Harris, Frank Ocean and Deadmau5, amongst many others.
McIlwaine will oversee the US management team based at Three Six Zero’s Los Angeles offices.
In addition, the exec will head up a new joint venture business, focusing on the careers of pop acts – Twenty Four Artist Management.
Little is known about Twenty Four Artist Management, but McIlwaine certainly has the pedigree for it.
For the last five years, he has run his own management company Pearl Group Entertainment.
Prior to Pearl Group, McIlwaine worked alongside Simon Fuller at 19 Entertainment to manage major artists emerging from American Idol.

McIlwaine has sold over 20 million albums worldwide in his career as a manager.

Founded in 2007 by Gillespie and Wilson, Three Six Zero has offices in Los Angeles and London.
In 2010 Three Six Zero partnered with Roc Nation to help accelerate its US expansion.
In 2013 Three Six Zero Publishing was formed in partnership with Warner/Chappell Publishing.
