Ticketmaster is increasing its foothold in Germany, a year after it was cleared in a critical legal battle against local rival CTS Eventim.
Ticketmaster Germany has this week formed new partnerships with Mehr! Entertainment Group & Eintrittskarten.de, expanding its retail ticketing and marketing operations to six venues and more than 2,500 events.
The Düsseldorf-based Mehr! Entertainment Group and Eintrittskarten.de’s venues include the Mehr! Theater Hamburg, as well as Capitol Theater Düsseldorf, Cologne Musical Dome, Admiralspalast Berlin, Musical Theater Bremen and Starlight Express-Theater Bochum.
Ticketmaster launched its German division in 2011, which has since produced shows including Backstreet Boys and Beyoncé’s Mrs Carter World Tour.
Ticketmaster International operates in 13 European countries, and last week announced the acquisition of ticketing company Sherpa.be in Belgium.
Mehr!
