TIDAL is now compatible with all Amazon Echo devices.
Users will be able to add TIDAL to their Amazon Echo devices through the Alexa app by going into the Music & Books section, enabling the TIDAL skill, and linking their TIDAL account.
TIDAL claims to be the first music streaming service to build with Amazon’s self-service Music Skill API, which was unveiled earlier this year.
Customers can set TIDAL as their default music service by going to Settings > Music, tapping “Choose default music services” and selecting TIDAL in Settings within the Alexa app.
The Amazon Echo launch adds to TIDAL’s growing list of integrations including two recent partnerships with Samsung for its wearable devices and a dedicated Samsung TV app.
