TikTok parent ByteDance has appointed Deezer veteran Henrique Fares Leite to head up its music business relations in Latin America.
According to the exec’s LinkedIn profile, he is now Head of Music Industry Relations, Latin America at ByteDance.
Henrique Fares Leite was previously Head of Music Industry Relations Americas at Deezer.
He originally joined the company in 2013 as Head of Label Relations Latin America, before being promoted to Head of Music Industry Relations Latin America in March 2017.
His experience prior to joining Deezer includes a five-year stint at Microsoft, where he was Content Project Manager for products like MSN Music, Zune, and Xbox Music.
He worked in the live music business before working in digital music according to his LinkedIn profile, including festival production, concert hall programming and promotions.
