Online music creation marketplace Beatclub, founded by Timbaland and longtime business partner Gary Marella, has teamed up with Red Bull Media House to feature exclusive beats and songs in Red Bull’s global breaking competition series, Red Bull BC One.
The new partnership provides Red Bull with early access to the Grammy Award winning producer’s soon-to-launch platform, along with its roster of producers, artists, and songwriters.
Beatclub features what it calls a “hand-selected roster” of artists, producers and songwriters.
Producers like Mike WiLL Made-It, Mike Dean, Tainy, J. Cole, Federico Vindver, Larrance Dopson, Tommy Brown, and “hundreds” of others have signed on with Beatclub to serve as the exclusive marketplace for their songs, beats, and sound packs.
Beatclub will collaborate with Red Bull BC One, which features over 60 events worldwide, to create music for the 2021 season.
The new tracks will be incorporated globally across competition and content, starting July 24, in the US.
The launch of Beatclub is coming later this year and arrives after Timbaland and Marella found success with online battle platform Verzuz during 2020.
Verzuz originally launched on Instagram but became a multi-platform phenomenon following deals with the likes of Apple Music. Verzuz was then acquired by Triller in March.
Gary Marella, founder of Mono Music Group, discussed Beatclub on the MBW podcast in March this year.
