UK promoter Jockey Club Live has signed up Kylie Minogue and Kaiser Chiefs as the first acts to perform during its 2015 summer season.
An Evening At The Races – which takes place over selected dates in June, July and August – will see the two acts perform at racecourses in Suffolk, Merseyside and London.
Their shows will follow six races at each venue earlier in the evening. Tickets start from £25 and are on sale now, with more acts to be announced.
Minogue said: “I’m so excited to be performing at An Evening At The Races. I have an amazing band and fabulous dancers and we can’t wait to share my hits with you in a beautiful summer outdoor show. Being from a horse racing city like Melbourne, I’ll be sure to have a flutter on the horses myself!”
Simon Halden, co-founder of The Jockey Club Live, said: “I think we can be rightly proud of our forthcoming programme for Jockey Club Lives’ An Evening At The Races in 2015. Our summer line-up this year is a fantastic mix of artists and includes pop superstar Kylie, Kaiser Chiefs and plenty more household names to be announced over the coming weeks.
“Festival tickets and large scale summer shows can be expensive so we are keen to make sure everyone gets an opportunity to see this quality of talent close to home at affordable prices. An Evening At the Races offers a unique experience for music fans and racegoers alike, with a combination of top class horse racing alongside high quality music in beautiful countryside with world class facilities.”
In addition to Haydock Park, Sandown Park and Newmarket, The Jockey Club Live will also host further An Evening at the Races events across Market Rasen, Carlisle and Epsom Downs racecourses this summer.Music Business Worldwide
