Vevo has promoted JP Evangelista to Senior Vice President of Content, Programming and Marketing.
In this expanded role, Evangelista will guide the company’s strategy around official music video releases, original content creation, and Vevo’s programming, editorial and marketing globally.
He will also continue to work closely with artists, managers, and major and indie record labels strengthening the company’s music industry footprint.
Evangelista has been with the music video platform since inception, and has been instrumental in redefining its original content offering, the way the platform supports and develops emerging artists, and the strategies for supporting official video releases.
Since Evangelista took a leadership position in the company last year, there has been substantial growth across video views and engagement for Vevo original content.
