With the big night just a day away, Voly Music has been confirmed as the sponsor of the Major Label of the Year category at this year’s A&R Awards.
The UK-focused event, presented by MBW, will take place on the evening of Tuesday, November 8 (that’s tomorrow!), at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London. It is widely regarded as the British music industry’s most enjoyable night out – and is completely sold out.
Ian Flanagan, CEO of Voly said: “Voly is committed to helping artists gain better financial control of their music and tour management. That’s why we are delighted to show our commitment to the music industry, by supporting an award ceremony that rewards and recognises new talent and those making an impact in the UK music scene.
“It’s an honour to sponsor the A&R awards for a second year running, we are humbled and delighted to be in the company of such creativity and talent. It’s going to be a very special evening.”
Voly Music offers music industry clients a specialist financial management platform, with integrated Prepaid Mastercard and FX Payment features. The company works with artist management companies, live music promoters, tour managers and business managers, amongst other sectors.
Other categories at the 2021 event will include Songwriter of the Year (Sponsored by Hipgnosis), Producer of The Year, A&R of the Year: Adult Contemporary, A&R Administrator, A&R of The Year: Contemporary Black Music (sponsored by Spotify), A&R Of The Year: Electronic/Dance, Song of the Year and A&R of The Year: Rock/Alternative (sponsored by Session).
There will also be winners announced in categories such as Independent Label of The Year, Publisher of the Year (sponsored by Milk & Honey), Management Company (sponsored by Centtrip), and Artist To Watch (in association with Vevo), plus, of course, The Sir George Martin Award.
