Their predictions weren’t too accurate last year, but YouTube and Google Play Music have again revealed who they think will win BRIT Awards in London tomorrow, using streaming data and video views.
The two platforms predict that Sony group Little Mix will pick up Best British Group, while Universal act Ellie Goulding (pictured) will be honoured with the Best Female Solo Artist gong.
YouTube data suggests that Best British Male could be the late David Bowie, whereas Google Play Music names Craig David.
Independent grime artist Stormzy is predicted by YouTube for Best Breakthrough Act, while Google Play Music pits Atlantic star Anne-Marie.
The two are also divided over the international awards: YouTube is forecasting The Weeknd and Rihanna, whereas Google Play Music anticipates that Drake will scoop Best International Male and Sia will win Best International Female.
The 1975, Jonas Blue, Twenty One Pilots and Calvin Harris are also on the two lists of potential honourees.
“British music, fashion and culture are the envy of the world – and the BRIT Awards always remind us why.”
